Maddie is powered by ever-shifting, obsessive interests. If you catch her right now, you’re equally likely to hear an enthusiastic rundown on:

• the history of perfume

• mastering table top role playing (she is, of course, the GM)

• the mechanics of K-pop

• how hard it is to make your own clothes? did we all know this? how many sewing classes until you can sew in a straight line??

When not exploring any of these hobbies/rabbit holes-so-deep-they-become-hobbies, Maddie is reading and thinking about tech, art, and the social role of brands.

She’s dabbled professionally and personally in narrative strategy and game design, and it’s only reenforced her commitment to intentional storytelling—to using (and questioning, and refining) emerging technology to tell stories that prompt us to wonder about a more just world. Maybe even try and build it.
